Nighttime construction sounds, recorded in oregon. No voices, just the sounds of trucks & equipment on a building site at 1am. You can hear the large running diesel engine trucks, forklifts and backhoes working.
fluctuating random voltages patch example from doepfer. De/a100_man/a100_patch. Htmi made the patch in vcv-rack. The patch is meant to emulate the "fluctuating random voltages" of the buchla 266 source of uncertainty module. In this patch i use the "fluctuating random voltages" to modulate a filter. The filter is filtering a square wave tuned to a c (or close to a c).
I forgot i was recording! in one and a half hour. . . This is from that recording. It's an vcv-rack patch generating suspense music or call it anticipation music. Is there a good word for it. Maybe you interpret the sound in a different way? some sort of back ground noise anyway. . . ?the sound is time stretched, eqed, compressed and i added a little reverb.

Another patch on vcv rack. Sick! why am i doing this when i have the real thing :-) well it's fun and convenient. I can test modules and patch ideas. If i have three square waves i will do this one at home too. I have done similar patches before on my eurorack. . . . ((. . . And i can do it at work. . . )).

I racking the action on a 12 gauge remington 870 shotgun. There is also the sound of the empty hull being dropped on the concrete floor. Realised to my dismay that this sound was not available. A card tapping and scraping on a ceramic plate. Designed to imitate the noise of cocaine being cut up. Recorded on a tascam dr-40 in a 4m square kitchen. Tea towel was placed under the plate to cut out an excessive noise from the plate itself. Recorded with a low frequency cut off at 80hz.
A browning hi-power handgun being cocked. Includes 5 takes, 3 mid-tempo ones and 2 fast ones at the end. Sound was created by mixing multiple different takes of an airsoft browning hi-power pistol replica foley.
